Program 1/ Program 1 / IMPROVING FORECASTS : impossible mission ?
Advances in computer technology and the challenged provided by the wide adoption of lean thinking, offer new views on the classic problem of sales forecasts and their accuracy. Many companies have implemented Lean, tripping on the absence or unreliability of forecasts, which leads, paradoxically, create buffer stocks, the antithesis of Lean! Similarly, the software starts more and more sophisticated hardly reduces the variability of estimates, and in some cases made them more difficult to obtain by producers and suppliers. However, new experiments show that the computer can be a powerful aid for customer demand and to stabilize the entire supply chain

Program 2/ DEVELOPMENT AND PRODUCTION
Everywhere innovation + production are cited as ways of salvation for the company and for the country. The relocation of production to find the lowest cost, has shown, excluding the impact of cost "surprise" on the margins, that without production, innovation is hard to create products manufacturers under "Lean" to have the best quality and lowest cost. Similarly, without the Production Development to power, becomes a candidate to be relocated, depriving the company of his knowledge and depleting employees by removing their jobs. The imperative today - managing the development and production together - keeps margins and sustain the activity. Experience in companies show the paths of progress in this area relatively unexplored and offer examples.
